It makes sense - if more people are car sharing, there are fewer cars on the road. Fewer cars means less congestion. Less congestion means quicker journeys. But only if we all do our bit.
Anyone can car share, even if they live out in the country miles from a bus stop! So you can save money and do your bit for the environment even if you don't live next to a train station or a frequent bus service!
FACT: If everyone car shared just once a week, traffic levels would be reduced to the same level as during school holidays.
